Faith is Expressed through Confidence

How well do you pay attention to the confidence you hold in Christ? Do you jump to the end of the promise of heaven at His return? Do you remember and acknowledge the blood that He poured out and ripped open the curtain of the holy of holies so that all would have an opportunity to approach the presence of God? A pure heart dwells on both of these elements.
A pure-hearted individual accepts the understanding of their situation. Some may think a pure-hearted individual is someone who never does wrong, rather it is someone who knows they are wrong and need to be corrected. David cries out in Psalm 51:10 for God to create in him a clean heart. This cry was after his moment of failure by taking Bathsheba and killing her husband Uriah. It could only be through David’s acceptance and admitting of his failure that he comes to God for forgiveness.
Faith in the sacrifice of Jesus is the encouragement that keeps us holding fast to the promise of God. Neglecting to hold onto faith in Christ will cause confidence that comes from Christ to be thrown away.
With confidence in Christ, we can hold onto the endurance we need for life.
As you place faith in the promise of Jesus express this faith through confidence, so you may have the endurance to live a life that glorifies God.
